Patient Empowerment / Motivation

I offer a motivational/inspirational service where I can actually go in and spend some quality time with them to help give them a good one on one session of empowerment. I've been there and sometimes the right chat with the right person can really be a game changer in a situation where you just need that boost and little bit of hope.

GBS Awareness / Hospital Staff Consulting
One of the biggest challenges I faced while in the hospital battling GBS was the rare nature of the disease itself. In a lot of situations the staff taking care of me would be at somewhat of a loss to what needed to be done with me and it was never that they were bad at what they do It was simply the lack of experience with patients suffering from Guillain Barre Syndrome. This disease is so mysterious that its simply not real widely covered in education for CNAs, Nurses, Therapists, and so on. I'm offering a service where I will go into your facility to help educate your staff on what to expect while providing for a GBS patient or patients in similar situations. I can cover everything from basic signs and symptoms all the way to different strategies of communication with the patient.
